Cycle Two – Week Nine

History – Play pass the crown while reviewing the monarchs.  I also love looking up art (like the image above) of the people we’re learning about for my littles to see.  We can learn so much by looking closely at art from the time.

English – Copywork using traceable or fill-in-the-blank printables.

Latin – Use our copies of the Latin pronunciation helps to play a match game.

Science – Work on painting our solar system.

Math – Use a dry erase marker and our dry erase pockets to practice with skip counting charts.

Geography – Map marking with chocolate chips and continent blobbing.

We’re doing a bit of traveling right now and I’ve been so excited to see ways to work our memory work into our conversations.  It’s happened really easily, too.  Yesterday while visiting a cavern we learned about an animal that migrates and an insect that has adapted.  What about you? Have you seen the memory work popping up in conversations with your littles?
