History – Compare map of the Hundred Years War with modern day France and England boundaries. Maybe set up army guys in various battle positions.
Latin – Use Latin pronunciation helps to review the endings. I’ll use notecards to cover one ending at a time to see if my littles can identify which one is covered. By the end, I’ll have them all covered for them to say from memory.
English – Complete a story using the objective pronouns, mad-lib style (inspired by Suzanne Shares). I’ll write the story on our chalkboard with a word list of the objective pronouns for them to use.
Math – Play with the skip counting mazes for this week’s review. And of course, sing the skip counting songs!
Science – Read our Creation Science curriculum and complete the activity in our Wisdom & Righteousness notebook.
Geography – Map marking (marking this week’s locations on our maps with chocolate chips or a decent replacement!) and continent blobbing. Sound familiar? Yup, this is basically what we’ll be doing each week.
Fine Arts – Practice tin whistle. 🙂

Do you pay to be on CC connected? I heard it was really expensive if you weren’t apart of a CC group. Someone told me $60 a month, is that right?
Beth says
I do pay. I’m part of a CC group, so the cost is much less…I forget exactly, but maybe $5 or $6 a month. For tutors, I believe it is even less. $60 monthly sounds right if you’re not part of a group.
Amy says
Ok, I misunderstood, I thought you were only doing it at home and weren’t part of a group. That would be more than I’d want to pay at home.
Beth says
I can understand that, Amy!

Thanks for the shout out, Beth! Mad Libs are the best!!!! I’m so glad that my boys are finally old enough to do Mad Libs. I love the idea of doing the objective pronouns in that manner. 🙂 Suzanne 🙂
