Science – The Franklin Institute
Our family took part today in a trip to The Franklin Institute in Philadelphia organized by our local CC community. The littles & I had never been before. My husband, being a native of the Philadelphia area, had fond childhood memories of trips to the science museum. There were so many great hands-on exhibits that the boys were able to explore. It was really a treat for them & us. My husband led our boys through the heart while reading & explaining the signs. So cool for them to now share this experience that my husband first did as a child! & a great tie-in to our earlier studies on the body!
