Music – NY Philharmonic Orchestra
I imagine it’s becoming pretty evident that I really like visual or hands on learning! Today we watched a concert of the NY Philharmonic Orchestra performing in Central Park, thanks to our PBS channel. The boys were readily identifying different instruments and especially liked watching the conductor. *An added bonus* – this gave my sick littles some much needed rest time, while also engaging their minds to review what we learned at CC. We hope to complete this book about musical instruments later on today. And since they are all sick, we might spend some iPad time on the Little Einsteins’ page today.
Cute book! I have an orchestra book I got from the library that I planned to read to the kids tomorrow. I think I’ll add the instrument book to their work for the day. Thanks for another great idea.
