The View From Here

Fresh from one last bath before losing power, the littles are super excited to camp out in the basement during Hurricane Sandy.

Me prepping sewing projects by lantern light during our loss of power.
Group teaching on the chalkboard has been more of a regular occurrence this year resulting in only little nubs of chalk remaining in my chalk jar.  Time for some more! Side note: I always feel very teacher-y when I’m using chalk on the board. : )  I remember a spanish teacher from my elementary school days who would draw colorful chalk pictures with all of his teachings on the board.  I loved that!  My colored chalk jar is also full of nubs…

 While this was happening…

this was also happening.  Can anyone relate? Schooling with littler ones around can quickly turn into a chaotic adventure.
