Geography – Watching Planet Earth
Today we watched part of the Planet Earth DVD series; specifically the “fresh water” portion. Our whole family enjoyed seeing the magnitude of God’s creation on display & learning more about rivers in the process. It was a proud CC Momma moment, when my eldest son said, “That must be the Colorado River ’cause it’s running through the Grand Canyon.” Yay! I love that he remembered that & also that he now has a visual to connect with the name! Maybe one day, we’ll visit it in person!
Here’s the Planet Earth DVDs we own, but there are several versions. Our public library even has 1 copy, but it always seems to be checked out!
